
PLEASANTON, CA -- A vehicle carrying eight people crashed Monday morning in Pleasanton. NBC Bay Area reported the incident happened off of northbound Interstate 680 at the Interstate 580 interchange.
Officials told NBC the crash was reported before 6 a.m. KTVU said the "van went flying off a freeway and into a canal."
All eight passengers suffered minor injuries, but "were able to get out of the vehicle on their own," NBC reported.
