New Officer Welcomed To Pleasanton Police
Officer Melisa Gonzalez has joined the Pleasanton Police Department.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Police Department has a new officer. Melisa Gonzalez was welcomed to the department this week.
“We are confident she possesses the qualities and skills to enhance our service to the community,"Chief David Swing said.
Gonzalez graduated from the 165th South Bay Regional Public Safety Consortium, the department said.

Gonzalez has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a double minor in political science and mathematics from California State University East Bay.
