Pleasanton is one of 13 Bay Area cities with large populations named as the 50 wealthiest in the country based on median household income.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton is the 32nd wealthiest community with a population over 25,000 in the country based on median household income five-year estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2021 American Community Survey analyzed in a report from 24/7 Wall St.
Pleasanton has a median household income of $167,932 and a 2023 median home value of $1,116,800 according to the survey and Zillow, respectively. Its home value was ranked the 31st highest in the country.
Bay Area cities comprised 11 cities in the Top 25 list, including the number one spot. Danville ranked 17th, San Ramon ranked 25th, and Dublin came in at 26th.
