PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton City Council approved nearly $700,000 in funding through a grant program that supports local nonprofits and community projects.
The Housing and Human Services Grant Program supports organizations that help people in need through housing support, mental health care, and more. Funding comes from federal, state, and local sources, including federal Community Development Bloc Grants, HOME Investment Partnership Program funds, the city's Lower Income Housing Funds, and $10,000 from the General Fund.

- Open Heart Kitchen: $25,000 from the General Fund

- Operation School Bell: $5,000
Tri-Valley Haven's Domestic Violence Services and Tri-Valley Haven's Homeless and Family Support Services received funding through the Lower Income Housing Fund, though the staff report does not specify how much.
