Pleasanton Police Department Look To Hire Officers

PLEASANTON, CA — You might have spotted the Pleasanton Police Department out and about at events throughout the Bay Area recently as the department looks for its next officers to join the team.

There are three positions listed on the department's website. Prior experience isn't required for all of them.

"If you have zero experience in law enforcement or are an experienced professional, you can discover your purpose in Pleasanton," the department said.

Current openings include a police recruit, police officer and an academy graduate. The recruit is for someone not currently enrolled in the police academy. The officer position is for a candidate with more than two years of experience as a police officer and the final opening is for a police academy graduate.
