Run For Education Returns to Pleasanton

PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Run for Education is back on site this year after a pandemic hiatus.

The family-friendly event is April 24 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Races include a 5K, 10K and 15K run/walk. The Kids Challenge also spans a 1/2 mile course inside the fairgrounds.

Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation hosts the annual event and describes it as a 'carnival-style atmosphere.'

2022 marks the 10th anniversary. Money raised at the event goes to support 15 Pleasanton schools, 14,500 students and more than 9,000 families, PPIE said.
