Sig Alert Lifted, Traffic Back To Normal On I-680 In Pleasanton

The alert was canceled and normal traffic resumed around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday after a hit and run.

PLEASANTON, CA — A sig alert from California Highway Patrol has been cleared after a crash on I-680 southbound near South Stoneridge Drive in Pleasanton stopped two lanes of traffic

CHP issued the alert at 4:54 p.m. Wednesday after a white Scion spun out of control. It was cleared by 5:15.

The report originally said traffic two lanes were blocked but a tow truck arrived quickly and cleared the lanes.

CHP confirmed with Patch the crash was a hit and run. Minor injuries were reported.
