Thousands Without Power In Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore
A huge outage hit an area affecting all three cities Wednesday afternoon.

PLEASANTON, CA — 7,286 PG&E customers are without power in Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore Wednesday afternoon, according to a PG&E map.
The outage stretches from Tassajara Road in the west to Canyon Parkway in the east, and from Cottonwood Creek Park in the north to the Shadow Cliffs Regional Recreation Area in the south. Areas near the Livermore Municipal Airport are not affected, but the map does not show that the airport itself is affected.

The first outage affecting 2,246 customers began at 1:13 p.m., and is estimated to be restored by 5:30 p.m. The larger outage affecting 5,037 customers began at 1:54 p.m., and PG&E did not provide an estimated restoration time. No reason for the outage was given.
