• Point Reyes' Aging Green Gateway Finally Scores Cash For A Full Makeover (hoodline.com) — A major overhaul of the green Highway 1 bridge at the southern entrance to Point Reyes Station is now fully funded, with $28.48 million approved for its replacement. Construction is slated to start in late spring 2026, bringing wider lanes, bike shoulders, and a sidewalk but also one-way traffic controls and a 21-day full closure after Labor Day 2026. Officials say the project aims to improve safety while minimizing impacts on Lagunitas Creek and nearby properties.
