• Poway deputies identify student who created video of weapons and violence (timesofsandiego.com) — Deputies from the Poway Sheriff’s Station say they’ve identified the Garden Road Elementary student believed to have created and shared a social media video showing weapons and violent images, and report there is no current threat to the campus. Investigators say the student acted alone, and officials are urging Poway families to remind kids they can report any safety concerns to school resource deputies or anonymous hotlines.
