Poway Chamber of Commerce Looking for a Leader with Local Ties
Executive board is handling day-to-day operations during the search for a new president.

A search for the new leader of the continues, with a three-person executive board handling the day-to-day operations following , whose resignation became effective on Wednesday.
The chamber is looking for a candidate from the greater Poway area, including I-15 corridor communities Rancho Bernardo, 4S Ranch, Rancho Penasquitos and Scripps Ranch.
“We are looking for a person with solid business background coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive the chamber to new success and growth,” incoming Chairman Paul Crute said in a statement. “Possessing connections in the local community will be a large plus.”

The board has formed a search committee to fill the vacant position. Hulsizer’s title was president and CEO. Crute, current Chairman Paul Byrne and past chairwoman Linda Goycochea are managing the chamber’s office during the search process.
The Poway Chamber of Commerce is presenting The San Diego Inland Business Expo on June 14, and the Poway Days Festival on Sept. 16.
