Poway Crime Report: Sept 19-24

Items of note from the press board at the Poway Sheriff’s Station.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

A 28-year-old male was arrested for DUI on Poway Road at Iola Way just before 11 a.m.

A traffic stop in the 13700 block of Poway Road at 11:15 a.m. led to a 34-year-old male being cited for possession of marijuana.

Tools valued at $1,320 were reported stolen in the 17100 block of Tam O Shanter Drive.

Thursday, Sept. 20

A 30-year-old male was arrested for DUI in the 13400 block of Poway Road just before 6:30 p.m.

A 50-year-old male and a 51-year-old female were cited for misdemeanor shoplifting from Kohl’s on Gregg Court. An item valued at $242.30 was recovered.

A cash register valued at $600 and $300 in cash were reported stolen from the Original Pancake House on Pomerado Road. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. on Sept. 19 and 5 a.m. Sept. 20.

The theft of $300 in cash was reported from El Ranchito Taco Shop on Stowe Drive. The theft occurred between 4:30 p.m. Sept. 19 and 8 a.m. Sept. 20.

A commercial burglary was reported at Hong Kong Express between 10 p.m. Sept. 19 and 8 a.m. Sept. 20.

Tools valued at $500 were reported stolen from Rose’s Nails on Pomerado Road between 8 p.m. Sept. 19 and 9 a.m. Sept. 20.  

Friday, Sept. 21

A power tool valued at $1,200 was reported stolen from a residence in the 12600 block of Arabian Way.

A 36-year-old female reported a suspicious person peeping through clothes with a camera at Sprouts on Poway Road at 3:30 p.m. No description of the suspect was provided.

A 41-year-old male was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance on McFeron Road at Pomerado Road just before 7 p.m.

A commercial burglary was reported in the 12400 block of Oak Knoll Road. Items valued at $1,590 were reported stolen.

Saturday, Sept. 22

A 23-year-old male was cited for misdemeanor shoplifting at Walmart on Community Road. Two video accessories with a combined value of $90 were reported stolen.

Sunday, Sept. 23

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on Poway Road at state Route 67.

A 53-year-old male was arrested for being drunk in public in the 15600 block of Pomerado Road just before 5 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 24

A computer valued at $1,500 was reported stolen from a building in the 12300 block of Teri Drive.
