Poway Crime Report: April 2-9
A vandalism spree over the weekend resulted in more than 15 damaged vehicles. No arrests have been reported. Patch will follow up when more details become available.

Monday, April 2
The theft of a cell phone and a speaker box was reported on Ipai Waaypuk Trail and Poway Road. A 19-year-old male suffered an apparent minor injury.
Vandalism was reported in the 13200 block of Civic Center Drive. Damage was estimated at $300.

A commercial burglary was reported in the 15700 block of Pomerado Road. A computer valued at $1,000 was reported stolen.
A commercial burglary and vandalism were reported in the 11600 block of Creek Road. Damage was estimated at $3,800.

Wednesday, April 4
Vandalism was reported in the 13500 block of Ranch Creek Lane. Damage was estimated at $250.
The theft of $727 worth of merchandise was reported from Target on Pomerado Road.
A 24-year-old male was arrested and charged with DUI in the 14100 block of Midland Road around 9 p.m.
Thursday, April 5
A residential burglary was reported in the 12500 block of Oak Knoll Road. Electronics valued at $350 were reported stolen.
A subject stop just after 2 a.m. led to the arrest of a 45-year-old female, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance on Carriage Road at Poway Road.
The theft of $877.50 worth of cigarettes was reported from Rite-Aid in the 12600 block of Poway Road.
A vehicle was reported vandalized between 10 p.m. and 10:39 p.m. in the 13600 block of Tobiasson Road. Damage was estimated at $15,000.
Friday, April 6
Five vehicles were reported vandalized between 7 a.m. April 5 and 1 a.m. April 6 in the 13900-14000 block of Frame Road. Damage to all vehicles was estimated at $1,300.
A 23-year-old female was arrested and charged with felony shoplifting from Wal-Mart in the 13400 block of Community Road just before 4 p.m. Three items with a combined value of $40.61 were recovered.
A car belonging to the city of San Diego Transportation Department was reported vandalized between March 30 and April 6 in the 13400 block of Tobiasson Road. Damage was estimated at $10,000.
A bomb device was reported found in the 12800 block of Montauk Street around 10:40 p.m. No injuries or arrests were reported.
Saturday, April 7
A juvenile was placed under citizen’s arrest for misdemeanor battery just before 8 p.m. on Sycamore Tree Lane at Community Road. A 42-year-old male suffered an apparent minor injury.
A van was reported vandalized in the 12500 block of Mustang Drive. Damage was estimated at $200.
A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 11700 block of Treadwell Drive. Damage was estimated at $200.
Sunday, April 8
A car window was reported vandalized on McFeron Road at Tobiasson Road. Damage was estimated at $300.
A car window was reported vandalized in the 13800 block of Frame Road. Damage was estimated at $200.
Three car windows were reported vandalized in the 14000-14100 block of Powers Road. Damage to each car was estimated at $300.
Two car windows were reported vandalized in the 14100-14200 block of Arbolitos Drive. Damage was estimated at $500.
A car window was reported vandalized in the 13000 block of Papago Drive. Damage was estimated at $200.
A car window was reported vandalized in the 14400 block of Crestwood Avenue. Damage was estimated at $300.
A car window was reported vandalized in the 13900 block of Saddlewood Drive. Damage was estimated at $300.
A 23-year-old male reported being robbed of $30 in currency at 7:30 p.m. on Meadowbrook Lane at Pomerado Road. The victim suffered apparent broken bones and a severe laceration, according to a report.
Monday, April 9
Vandalism was reported in the 14200 block of Palisades Drive, damage was estimated at $100.
A theft by use of access card information was reported in the 13000 block of Kirkham Way; $2,500 in currency was reported stolen.
A car window was reported vandalized in the 12800 block of Carriage Road. Damage was estimated at $200.
