Monday, June 4

A case of elder abuse that occurred between Dec. 15, 2011, and April 30, 2012, was reported. The 66-year-old victim reported $6,000 was stolen by use of access card information.

A business in the 13600 block of Danielson Street reported an embezzlement by employee. Office equipment valued at $2,900 was reported stolen.

A 53-year-old male was arrested for suspicion of felony likely to cause harm/death of elder/dependent adult in the 13200 block of Buena Vista. A 68-year-old female suffered a minor injury.

Wednesday, June 6

A power tool valued at $1,200 was reported stolen from a residence in the 16100 block of Highland Valley Road.

Thursday, June 7

A subject stop on Espola Road at Twin Peaks Road at 10:40 p.m. led to a juvenile being detained for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

A traffic stop in the 13200 block of Poway Road just before midnight led to the arrest of a 42-year-old male on a felony warrant.

A 20-year-old male was arrested for suspicion of two controlled-substance felonies in the 14100 block of Twin Peaks Road at 8:55 p.m.

Friday, June 8

A refrigerator valued at $1,800 was reported stolen from a business in the 13400 block of Community Road.

Saturday, June 9

Computer equipment valued at $6,150 was reported stolen from a business in the 11800 block of Community Road.

A traffic stop on Pomerado Road at Kaitz Street at 11:13 p.m. led to three juveniles being detained for violating curfew. One was also charged with possession of marijuana, and another for driving without a valid driver’s license. They were released by 12:05 a.m.

Three juveniles were detained for petty theft from Stater Bros on Poway Road just before 8 p.m.

A car valued at $12,000 was reported stolen in the 13700 block of Midland Road.

A 22-year-old male was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon not a firearm in the 13000 block of Poway Road at 2:35 a.m. A 32-year-old male and a 30-year-old male suffered major injuries including broken bones and severe lacerations.

Sunday, June 10

A purse was reported stolen in the 12700 block of Gateway Park Road at 2 p.m.

A 30-year-old male was arrested for suspicion of DUI on state Route 67 at Poway Road at 10:21 p.m.

A 25-year-old female was arrested for suspicion of DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance on Pomerado Road at Holland Road at 11:50 p.m.

A 41-year-old male was arrested for suspicion of DUI in the 12600 block of Poway Road just after 1 a.m.

Monday, June 11

A camera, tools and other items valued at $590 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 12300 block of Kerran Street.

A bicycle valued at $450 was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Civic Center Drive.
