Poway Weather Report: Warm Temperatures Once the Fog Clears

The National Weather Service expects warmer-than-normal temperatures for the first part of the week.

From Monday through Wednesday, high temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees above normal in inland areas. However, a shallow marine layer will keep high temperatures around normal in coastal areas. A minor cooling trend will begin late this week with a weak trough approaching the area.

The National Weather Service forecast for Poway:

Monday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy early, then clearing, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph.

Monday night: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 53. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Tuesday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 55. West wind between 5 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Wednesday: Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 79. Calm wind becoming west between 5 and 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Patchy fog after 11pm. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 57.
