Last Summer Movie in the Park on Saturday: ‘Rango’

The Summer Movies in the Park series presented by the City of Poway concludes on Saturday with a showing of the animated hit “Rango,” starring the voice of Johnny Depp.

will be shown on a big screen set up outside in Poway Community Park after it gets dark, around 7:30 p.m. People are encouraged to arrive early to claim a good spot, and can bring chairs, blankets and food. The gates and recreation areas open at 6:30 p.m.

The cinema-quality screen will give people the rare chance to see “Rango’s” stunning animation in an outdoor setting. The movie is rated PG.
