Southbound I-15 To Be Closed Overnight Thursday
The southbound freeway will be closed from 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday in the Mira Mesa area.
Southbound I-15 will be closed from 11 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday from Mira Mesa Boulevard to Carroll Canyon Road for transit system construction.
The south and northbound express lanes will also be closed during the same night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
Signs will be posted on the freeway in advance of the closures to direct motorists to the detours.
This closure will allow crews to continue construction of the Mira Mesa direct access ramp. The ramp along with the new Miramar College Transit Station, which is also under construction, will link to the I-15 Express Lanes via Hillery Drive.
