• Supervisors OK Recycling for Downtown Quincy, CA (wasteadvantagemag.com) — Starting January 1, 2026, both downtown and East Quincy residents will finally have curbside recycling under a new Plumas County contract with Feather River Disposal. The change ends years of uneven service, but downtown Quincy customers will see a 39% rate increase as the American Valley Community Services District steps back from its previous Waste Management contract.
