A Much Loved Ramona Volunteer Has Passed Away in Her Native Land of Poland

Malgosia Olszewski of Wroclaw, Poland wrote to Immaculate Heart of St. Mary Catholic Church in Ramona to let them know of her mother-in-law Rozie Olszewski's death. Rozie had been a long-time and well-known volunteer for Immaculate Heart when she lived in Ramona. She passed away in Wroclaw, Poland after complications from surgery.

Rozie's brother, Constance Puchala, passed away in May 2001 in Poland.

Rozie returned to Poland from Ramona after her husband, Igor, and brother, Costek, passed away. She moved to live with her son, Frank, who died in June 2006 and his wife, Malgosia, in Poland.

Malgosia wrote to the church: "We remember her as a person of a giving and serving heart, a committed believer and churchgoer who loved and trusted her God."
