Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ladies' Auxiliary host a Memorial Day ceremony and honor Gold Star Mothers, those who have lost a son or daughter in a conflict. Rep. Duncan Hunter will be the keynote speaker.
The ceremony will move to Ramona's World War II Memorial, near the school district, 720 Ninth St., and conclude at noon at the Vietnam Memorial at Schwaesdall Winery, 17677 Rancho de Oro Drive.
