Ramona Patch Women's Walking Group

Every Saturday women of all ages gather to enjoy the great outdoors on Ramona trails. This Saturday, we'll enjoy the gentle trails of Barnett Ranch Preserve, which weaves among old oak trees and past a small pond.

You'll find it by taking San Vicente Road to Deviney Lane and you'll see the sign for the preserve.

This is part of the ranch originally owned by Augustus and Martha Barnett, benefactors of Ramona Town Hall. The original farm house can still be seen on the adjacent land to the north of the trail.

Janice Baldridge will lead this hike. Meet her in the parking area at 8 a.m. She plans to lead the group up to the loop, then take the alternate route back through the meadows to the parking area.

There is no restroom at the preserve and virtually no shade.
