Tails at Twilight Gala

Bring your appetite, generosity and pooches to the Escondido Humane Society’s dog-friendly Tails at Twilight Gala.

The four-hour fundraiser will take place at Vintana in Escondido on Oct. 13. Three hundred guests are expected to attend the 19^th annual gala, which raises funding and awareness for homeless animals.

All guests will enjoy a hosted bar of wine and beer, delectable dining options and entertainment by STAGE 4. Well-mannered, leashed canine companions are cordially invited, and Dog Butlers will be on hand to wait on them hand and paw. All four-legged guests also will receive an exclusive Doggie Bag.

Heather Myers of San Diego 6 is gala emcee. Sponsors include San Diego 6, Lexus Escondido, Vintana, Petco Foundation, San Diego County Credit Union, Wells Fargo and Boehringer Ingelheim, Stone Brewing Co., Barons Market, Holiday Wine Cellar and Grande Laundry.

Event schedule:

VIP Reception from 5 to 6 p.m.: Auction preview, specialty wines, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment

General admission at 6 p.m.: Silent auction, hors d'oeuvres, hosted wine and beer, entertainment

Dinner, live auction and entertainment from 7:30 to 9 p.m.: Live auction items include exclusive cover rights to the 2013 EHS Best Friends Calendar, Name the Street to EHS for one year, Spokespet for Paws in the Park 2013 and travel packages.

Cost: VIP tickets are $225 per person or $2,250 for a table for 10; regular tickets are $125 per person or $1,250 for a table for 10. VIPs receive early admission, sWAG bag and premier seating.
