The Fund for Animals Wildlife Center will host a program, “Wildlife Rehabilitation” to address how to care for ailing wild animals.
Professionals train and are licensed by the state to provide injured, ill and orphaned animals with care so that they can be released back into their native habitat. Ali Crumpacker, director of the center, will offer an introduction to the topic and share interesting cases that have come through the facility.
This program includes a slide show and is family friendly. Topics will include what to do after spotting an animal in distress, how to identify if the animal really needs to be rescued or if it is best to leave it alone and how to enter the profession.
