The County of San Diego is hosting a free event, our Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) Symposium. The event will be on September 7, 2013 (I attached the flyer).
The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) Symposium is an event in San Diego County for Grandparents and other kinship caregivers to learn, meet others who share the same needs, and to find support when placed in a situation of raising a grandchild. Grandparents can choose to participate at regional sites rather than the main site, therefore East County will be hosting a site at Meridian Baptist Church at 660 S. 3rd Street, El Cajon, CA 92019.
