Driving in the mountains will be difficult for high-profile vehicles, National Weather Service said.

Along the coast, a high surf advisory was scheduled from 5 a.m. today to 11 a.m. Tuesday. Five to nine-foot surf was expected—especially along west- facing beache—due to a large short-period northwest swell.
