Hot Temperatures This Week Could Be Deadly for Hikers

Stay away from hiking and camping this week, as temperatures will be high.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Ramona is expected to get some high temperatures this week, which could prove deadly for hikers and campers.

The NWS is reporting that the inland areas in San Diego County this week will experience some very hot conditions, with temperatures reaching the triple digits.

High pressure will expand over Utah and Arizona this week, causing the increase in temperature. Daytime temperatures are expected to be anywhere from five to 15 degrees above normal, with the hottest days occuring Wednesday through Friday and possibly into Saturday.
