Jonah Needs a Home

Jonah is a 1-year-old, neutered Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix, ID # 53015.   Jonah is easily distracted, which slightly affects his leash manners, but the volunteers and staff are actively working with him on basic obedience, and they say he is learning quickly.

He is treat-motivated and has already grasped the concept of sit and stay. Jonah  loves to play, so he would do best in a household with older children.  Jonah needs an active family that will include him in their activities, provide him with adequate exercise and continue his basic training.  

Jonah is available for adoption at the Escondido Humane Society, 3450 E. Valley Parkway. His $85 adoption fee includes microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and vet exam.
