Another readiness conference is scheduled June 25 for Carlos Barajas, a contractor accused of committing a string a home burglaries during remodeling jobs.
Barajas, of RB Remodeling, was arrested April 9 in Ramona on suspicion of check fraud and burglary, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The investigation started in March when a Vista woman reported that her checks had been fraudulently cashed and she was missing a ring, authorities said, adding that Barajas made water damage repairs in her home in February.
