Multiple Vehicle Accident in Lakeside Sends Two People to Hospitals
One victim was transported for trauma care Tuesday night.
A four-vehicle collision in Lakeside Tuesday night sent two people to local hospitals.
The accident happened at about 6:30 p.m. in the 12900 block of Mapleview Street, according to Lakeside Fire District.
One victim was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital for trauma care, and another was sent to Sharp Grossmont Hospital after complaining of pain. Two other people elected not to be transported, according to Capt. Mark Grow in a news release by the fire district.

The accident temporarily closed the street. It is being investigated by California Highway Patrol.
