Northern Mockingbird In Ramona: Photo Of The Day

RAMONA, CA — Patch reader and local photographer Catherine Werth captured this photo of a northern mockingbird in her front yard in Ramona.

"A northern mockingbird couple has nested right in the middle of a really prickly cactus," Werth said in May. "They are feeding breakfast to the nestlings. Parenting skillset extraordinaire!"
