Photo of the Week: Smoky Silhouette

Horses are synonymous with Ramona, and the owner of a local equine center is showing off her camera skills and the equine culture in town with the picture above.

Patch reader Cheryl Pierce, who owns Pepper Creek Equine Center, uploaded this beautiful shot of riders in the morning fog.

Pierce said the picture was taken on March 17 at the equine center.

The stunning, smoky silhouettes of the riders and their horses in the early morning are a proud reminder of the horse heritage in Ramona.
