Ramona School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Ramona is August 21. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Ramona Unified School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/9 - 10/13: Grades K-6 Minimum Day (Parent Conference Week)

• 11/10: No School (Veterans Day Observed)
• 11/20 - 11/24: No School (Fall Break/Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/13 - 12/15: OPMS/RHS Minimum Day
• 12/18 - 12/29: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King Day)

February

• 2/16: No School (Lincoln Day Observed)
• 2/19: No School (President’s Day)

March

• 3/30: No School (Admissions Day)

April

• 4/2 - 2/6: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/5 - 6/6: OPMS/RHS Minimum Day
• 6/7: Last Day of School for Students, Minimum Day for All Grades
• 6/8: Last Day of School for Teachers
