Ramona High School's Travis Kerchner told U-T San Diego he's given a verbal commitment to attend and play football for the Naval Academy next year.
Kerchner, who played as a linebacker for Ramona Bulldogs this record breaking season, said he grew up in a military family and is excited for his first college season. He was recruited by Army, Navy and Air Force.
