By leaving your old,Β
unneeded eyeglasses, sunglasses, readers or childrenβs glasses in a plastic bagΒ
at your mailbox, youβll be helping needy patients around the world whoΒ
desperately need corrective or protective lenses. Your donation means many willΒ
experience clear vision for the first time.
So take thisΒ opportunity to recycle the old glasses you've had tucked away in a drawer forΒ
years. Lions Club volunteers will sterilize calibrate and distribute yourΒ
donation. If you receive no mail on Friday, your donation will be picked up theΒ
next time your carrier has mail to deliver. Over the past ten years, letterΒ
carriers collected more than 100,000 pair of donated glasses.
