Small Earthquake Rattles East County
The magnitude 3.9 quake east of Ramona hit at 12:32.

The ground around the far reaches of East County did some shaking Saturday afternoon when a magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck in an area between Ramona and Borrego Springs, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Β
The quake occurred at 12:32 six miles east of Borrego Springs, at a depth of 3.8 miles, according to the Geological Survey. A spokesman for the Sheriffβs Department said there have been no reports of damage or injuries.
