Other facts
I have been a resident of Otay Division 5 and Jamul for 20 years. I have over 30 years of experience in planning, budgeting, and engineering of water systems. I served on boards and commissions associated with water and sewer as well as charitable organizations. My experience; I know the inner workings of water districts, fully understand the recommendations made by staff, and know what to look for and what questions to ask of staff. If elected I will stress that rate payers are the owners of the water district not the staff or the Board members. I will strive to assure a reliable water supply while controlling costs. I will seek to assure rates are not used to reallocate wealth but rather cover the cost of the service provided. I will support following the County Policy 107 on the urban limit line, i.e. no sewer in Jamul. I look forward to representing the rate payers of Otay Division 5 and ask for your vote.
