Today is Epiphany on the Christian Calendar
The 12th Day of Christmas commemorates the story of the Three Wise Men and the introduction of the story of Christ to the wider world.

To many of us, to have an "epiphany," in the broad sense of the word, means to have a sudden moment when the true essence of something you've been wondering about becomes crystal clear. It's a "wow" moment, a "why didn't I see that before?" moment, when something becomes obvious.
That's because the word comes from the French and Greek, meaning appearance or manifestation.
Within the Christian church, the day of Epiphany—Jan. 6 each year—is a commemoration of the story of "wise men," following a star to what they believed was the embodiment of an ancient prophecy—a baby born in a manger in a foreign land—Jesus. In the Christian tradition, the story represents the appearance or manifestation of what had been prophesied.
