Victoria Scott Richeson Identified as Ramona Teen Killed in Crash

The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified Ramona resident Victoria Scott Richeson, 18, as the fatality in a crash on San Vicente Road Thursday night.

The one-vehicle accident took place west of Wildcat Canyon Road around 9:30 p.m. She was driving westbound at an estimated 65 m.p.h. and lost control on a curve, according to CHP Officer Kevin Pearlstein. The car, a 2004 Hyundai Elantra, crashed into a tree and the woman was trapped inside, he said.

A witness called 911, emergency personnel arrived and confirmed that she died at the scene, according to the Medical Examiner's Office.
