Country Town's Antique is a Grade A Weigh
These historic gadgets might come in handy for local egg ranchers.
Here in Ramona, we're no strangers to eggs. Many residents get their own farm-fresh eggs from their chickens at home, and Pine Hill Egg Ranch keeps customers near and far satisfied with their products.
Patti McPherson, who owns Country Town Antiques, has multiple egg graders, or egg scales, all ranging anywhere from $65-$125.
"These were used by egg ranchers to weigh the eggs, thus giving a price per dozen," McPherson said. "Now they have machinery to weigh them."
