• Cathedral City Councilman Mark Carnevale Funeral Service Set for Monday (mynewsla.com) — Deputies responded to a November 16 emergency call at a Rancho Mirage residence, where Cathedral City Councilman Mark Carnevale was pronounced dead despite life-saving efforts and no foul play suspected. A public Celebration of Life is set for Monday in Cathedral City, with local leaders and family offering tributes and a livestream available for those who can’t attend.
