  1. Who will be affected in a grocery strike? Over 500 stores, including Ralphs, Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions, would be affected during a strike. Workers have been waiting for a new contract for the past three years. They are asking for high pay and better benefits, as well as adequate scheduling and hours. On Saturday, you can run, or walk, through Balboa Park to celebrate World Autism Day, 100 percent of race donations will support local autism programs, services, and hundreds of local classrooms, as well as help build a more inclusive San Diego. You can even wear your superhero cape for the event. Register online now, or onsite on the morning of the event. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. The event will feature a SUPERHERO 5K chip timed run, 5K walk, or 1-mile Family Fun Walk, scenic Balboa Park course, educational resource fair, children's activities, music, commemorative medals, T-shirts, and more!
