Here are three of the top stories today in Rancho Bernardo-4s Ranch
- Maybe you have wondered why homes in Rancho Bernardo and 4S Ranch are selling so quickly, and at prices higher than the asking prices. Zip codes 92127 and 92128 were among the hottest markets for single-family homes. Our local realtors have some thoughts on the matter. Some point to the increase in the number of homes purchased by corporations to flip. Others say that some purchasers plan to change the properties into multiple dwellings. Whatever the reasons, it is clear that many have been shut out of the housing market. To learn more: Click into parenthesis, then click the link. (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
- SDCCD is using MAP to match college catalog courses to American Council on Education Military Guide training. The pilot program aims to turn military courses into college credit. "It's really exciting to take part in this cohort and be able to expand and be part of the different pieces of the MAP pilot project," said Shelly Hess, dean of Instructional Services at the SDCCD. This is good news for our veterans. To learn more: Click into parenthesis, then click the link. (Patch Press Release Desk)
- They call it 'Spring Fling.' It is a one-day art show at the Rancho Bernardo Library. Local artists will exhibit their creations on Saturday in the library's second-floor community room. The event is sponsored by Friends of the Rancho Bernardo Library. All are invited. To learn more: Click into parenthesis, then click the link. (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
