  1. The bad news is we need to cut back further on our water use. The good news is this time the demand for cutbacks will come from cities and local water districts, allowing for conservation goals to be set by local areas themselves. “We live in a state that has many different hydrological zones, many different water usages, and that one-size-fits-all doesn’t really work in California,” said Jared Blumenfeld, secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency. “How we protect this precious resource has to be baked into everything we do," Blumenfeld said. “Our lives here in California are really going to be shaped by water scarcity going forward." Whether you are looking for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for just under $725K, or 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ranging from $795K to just under $1.3 million, these homes are worth checking out. Need something larger, take a look at this 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom home for just over $2.3 million. Happy shopping! To learn more: Click into Parenthesis, then click the link. (Patch)
