  1. SDG&E has money for you! Yes, it’s true! The California Public Utilities Commission requires utilities that emit greenhouse gases to purchase carbon pollution permits. Money from the sale is then shared with customers. According to the utility, no action is required to receive credits.   2. His name is Randy Wussler, and he plans to bike 3,400 miles cross country to raise money for diabetes research. Wussler, who turns 58 years old on Monday, has a daughter who was diagnosed with Type 1 juvenile diabetes at 8 months old. Wussler plans to ride a bicycle across 11 states, beginning on April 21 in La Jolla and concluding in Manasquan, New Jersey. He estimates arriving sometime in June.   3. They offer 'Classes for the Thoughtful.' The Continuing Education Center at Rancho Bernardo (CECRB) is a nonprofit, offering classes for personal enrichment taught by professors and experts in various fields. CEC is non-sectarian and apolitical. It offers a platform for the exchange of ideas without endorsing the views of those who speak in our classes. Past courses have included such titles as: 'Exotic Jewels of the Balkans,' 'Putin vs. Europe: The Geopolitics of Natural Gas,' 'Our Fragile Democracy,' and 'Alchemy: From Obsession to Science.'
