More than 600 runners participate to raise funds for Ryan's Reach.

The Dove Dash isn't about racing, but they do time runners as they cross the finish line. So let's start with that. For the most part, middle-aged people rule.
As for the event itself, hundreds gathered at Dove Canyon Golf Club on Sunday as part of festivities associated with the 13th annual Dove Dash to benefit Ryan's Reach and Tustin-based High Hopes, a rehabilitation center for those with traumatic brain injuries.
Two Coto de Caza residents were the overall winners of the 5K, Cole Bowen, 16 and Leilani Rios, 33. They were the top male and female finishers, and they finished 1-2. Bowen clocked 17 minutes 22 seconds, and Rios 17:34.
The top male in the 10K was Miguel Magana, 47, of North Hollywood, in 37:42, and Sherri Ellerby, 49, of Orange, in 41:28.
Here are the top three finishers among males and females for both races, including their ages, cities of residence and times.
