New Mayor Pro Tempore Selected In RSM

At their regular meeting on December 10, 2025, the City Council reorganized, unanimously selecting Anne Figureroa to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore. Anne was elected to the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council in November 2018. She served as Mayor Pro Tempore in 2021 and as Mayor in 2022.

Please join us in congratulating Mayor Pro Tempore Figueroa on this leadership role. Mayor Beall, the City Council, and our dedicated City staff look forward to working collaboratively in the year ahead to continue providing a safe, beautiful, and thriving community for all who live, work, and visit Rancho Santa Margarita.
