$200K+ In Grant Money Allocations To Be Discussed By RSM City Council
Rancho Santa Margarita City Councilmembers will discuss where over $200,000 in block grant funds will be allocated at Wednesday's meeting.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA — The Rancho Santa Margarita City Council will discuss where to allocated over $200,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds at its Wednesday meeting.
At the meeting, councilmembers will review a plan detailing the proposed use of the $216,552 in grant funds for this fiscal year.
According to the staff report, city staff is proposing that the funds go toward public improvements, affordable housing, public services, homeless services and program administration.

If the plan is approved, the city will disburse roughly $32,000 grant money to nonprofits across the area, including: RSM Cares, Age Well Senior Services, Vocational Visions, Family Assistance Ministries and Families Forward.
Residents who attend the meeting will also hear an update from Lieutenant Colonel Clinton Hall and Sergeant Major Robert Ashby on the City of RSM's Adopted United States Marine Corps, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines.
