The Santa Margarita Catholic High School’s Boys Basketball team is playing for the Southern Section Division 3AA championship on Thursday at the Anaheim Convention Center Arena at 8:15. The Eagles will play La Verne Damien.
To wish them luck and help raise money, Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant in Rancho Santa Margarita is hosting a fundraiser night to help support the team before its championship game.
“The Santa Margarita boys team has had a hard-fought season under the leadership of our new head Coach, Jeff Reinert," says parent Brian Rodgers. "We are looking forward to the community joining in the fun, supporting the Eagles and wishing them luck before the big game!”

Tonight (Wednesday), 15 percent of food and drink tabs (excluding tax) will be donated to the basketball program between 5-10 p.m., if the guest shows his server a has a flyer from a smart phone or printout; tax is not included in the donation.
