Obituary: Kenneth Olson Service on Saturday

Kenneth Paul Olson, Jr., of Corona and Newport Beach, CA, died Thursday April 11 from injuries sustained in a head on collision with a wrong way driver on Jamboree Rd., in Tustin, as he returned from work.

He was born in Fountain Valley, CA, on December 11, 1983, attended high school in Corona, and married the love of his life, Sarah Catherine Nicholas, on July 28, 2012, in the company of 150 family and friends at the Newland House, Huntington Beach.

The newlyweds made their home in Newport Beach, CA, but recently moved in with family in Corona in order to bolster the down payment for their first home.

Kenneth leaves behind the broken hearts of his beautiful wife, Sarah, his parents, Becky Reedy and Kenneth Olson, Sr., sister Lacy, Aunt Crystal Olson, cousins Ciara, Chelsea, Collin & Austin and in-laws Paul, Patricia and Mark Harrington and Jon and Nicole Nicholas, niece Rylee, nephews Will and Davy, as well as countless friends and relations who will miss his beaming smile, unending enthusiasm for life and love of people.

Kenneth LOVED his family above all else and gave of himself constantly.  Kenneth was California Angels Fan #1, and had just returned from attending games with his Uncle Mike during Spring Training in Arizona. He was also an avid cyclist, and had completed the Breathless Agony tour and the Tour de Palm Springs.

Kenneth worked as a Mixologist for Chili’s Restaurant in Irvine, and will be dearly missed by his fellow Chili-heads and regular customers.

Celebrate Kenneth’s Life at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, at Lighthouse Community Church, 301 Magnolia Street, Costa Mesa, CA, 92627. Reception to follow in church hall.

AND please note: Kenneth and his wife took a cab to and from any event that involved alcohol. ALWAYS. Please … follow his example so that no other families will be in the agony that ours is experiencing right now right.
