Taking a look at what's going down and coming up for residents in the Rancho Santa Margarita area.
• Worried about what kinds of trouble your teen can get into? The Orange County Sheriff says look to your medicine cabinet.
• Santa Margarita Catholic kicks off the 2013 football campaign on the road with one of the biggest games of the night. The Eagles will play at La Puente Bishop Amat. Read Patch's Trinity League Preview. Other games include Trabuco Hills at Dana Hills, La Mirada at Tesoro, and Mission Viejo playing in Honolulu. • Scores went down in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District over the past year, with the overall API scores dipping four points. Scores also went down in the Capo Unified School District.
